Live from Luxembourg: A Virtual Benefit Concert Featuring Zero Point Five
The Luxembourg American Cultural Society is proud to present its first-ever virtual concert, “Live from Luxembourg: a Virtual Benefit Concert Featuring Zero Point Five.” This pre-recorded concert will premiere on Luxembourg’s National Day holiday, Tuesday, June 23rd at 8 pm CST. This concert is happening in lieu of the annual Green Heart Gala, the LACS’s annual fundraising event, which had to be cancelled due to the pandemic. It is a great way to band its community of Luxembourg Americans together on what is typically a day of joy and celebration.
The Spirit of Luxembourg Fest Donation
We are feeling nostalgic about our cancelled Luxembourg Fest and all the events over the long weekend. Although we are trying to keep the fest spirit alive through our virtual events, we cannot pretend that this unprecedented pandemic has not affected our bottom line. Aside from the Green Heart Gala and Luxembourg Fest, we have had to put on hold other revenue generating activities, such as our beer gardens and tours to Luxembourg. If attending Luxembourg Fest is one of your favorite summer activities; instead of raising a glass of Bofferding beer with your friends and family, you can offer a donation to the LACS in their honor and we will post it in a future Gazette!
