Article 89 Dual Citizenship Application Deadline Extended
Great news for Article 89 Dual Citizenship Applicants!
As of today, March 17, the Minister of Justice, in a written reply to a parliamentary question addressed to her by representative Sven Clement, announced that the deadline to subscribe the reacquisition application (article 89) will be extended again until December 31, 2022. The reason being the present travel restrictions on entry into the EU, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, making it materially impossible for applicants to submit their paperwork in person, as required by law.
