LACS Recommendations
Sometimes it’s hard to decide where to go, so here are a few recommendations from the LACS Board of Directors and Staff!
Clausen District in Luxembourg City
“This beautiful area reminded me of a small European village while still in the city! The walk along the river was great and there were many places to eat or drink.”
Luxembourg City Museums
“If you’re an avid museum-goer like myself, check out the Lëtzebuerg City Museum which has a variety of engaging exhibits. MUDAM (Modern Art Museum) and Musée National d’Histoire et d’Art are also worth a visit!”
Caves du Sud Winery
Luxembourgish Cuisine
Useldange Castle
“Visiting this castle was made special because it was once owned by Emma Kuhn-Wolff, who immigrated from Useldange to the U.S., then came back and bought the castle.”
Little Switzerland of Luxembourg
“The Mullerthall region on the east side of Luxembourg is so picturesque as you are surrounded by the deep green woods and outcroppings of the sandstone rock formations.”
Family of Man Photography Exhibit
“This world-renowned exhibit by Edward Steichen will move visitors as it captures the essence of humanity.”
Luxembourg City Centre
“I enjoyed strolling through the city centre while shopping and stopping for a coffee at one of the many cafés.”
Cruise on the Moselle River
“It was a beautiful cruise, sipping wine, while viewing the countryside of Luxembourg and Germany.”
Vianden Castle & Town
Castles in Beaufort
Geenzefest or Broom Festival
“This one-of-a-kind festival takes place on Whit Monday every year in the town of Wiltz and celebrates the “broom” – a yellow flower seen in the countryside – not a sweeping broom!”
