Fest Grounds Activities:
- 11 AM: Luxembourg Fest Main Street Parade
- Diamond Dancers Main Street performance immediately following the parade- all are welcome to join in learning this dance, including kids participating in Lëtz Go Kidz program.
- 11:30 AM – 4 PM: Kënschtler Eck (Artist Corner) – Shop Luxembourg-themed vendors and make your own Paper Rose craft from recycled Luxembourgish books for free!
- 11:30 am – 3 pm:
- LACS Gift Shop Open
- Luxembourg Street Food with Nicky Krieger-Loos and Marc Weydert
- Jolly Good Kids Zone – FREE!
- Gaga Ball
- Lëtz Go Kidz Craft- Folk Dancing Paper Dolls
- 1 pm – 3 pm: Miss Kim’s Amazing Animals
- Straw Bale Mountain
- Noon – 1 PM: Live Music with Tonic Roots – Blues, jazz, acoustic rock, & more.
- Noon – 2 PM: Rides to LACS/Village Splash Pad
- 1 PM: Treipen Eating Contest
- 2 PM – 4 PM: Live Music with Tonic Roots continued.
At the LACS:
10 AM – 3 PM:
- Museum and Research Center Open with Free Admission.
- Genealogist Jean Ensch assisting with translations and genealogy research at the LACS Research Center.*
*No appointments necessary for Jean Ensch’s assistance, but researchers will be helped on a first come, first serve basis.
The LACS Museum and Research Center will be open Wednesday August 8 through Sunday August 13 from 10 AM – 3PM with Free Admission! No appointments necessary in the Research Center during Luxembourg Fest Week.
