Art, Music and Culture in 19th Century Luxembourg

This conference will concentrate on music, artwork and photography in 19^th century Luembourg, and how Luxembourgish cuture was influenced during this pivotal time period in the nation’s history. The LACS will be hosting speakers Jean Ensch, Dr. Damien Sagrillo and Maite Schenten to speak on these topics, as well as showing a recording of De Scholtschäin (1855), a play by Edmond de la Fontaine, courtesy of the Centre Natinoal de L’Audiovisuel (CNA).
