FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE. BELGIUM, WISCONSIN, JUNE 6, 2023. This year’s annual LACS Virtual Auction has been moved to June! Bidding on five Luxembourg-focused experiences opens Wednesday, June 14th and runs until Friday, June 23rd. Auction proceeds support the LACS mission and help ensure Luxembourg Fest remains strong for years to come.

This year’s special auction items include:
#1) Dinner with Her Excellency Nicole Bintner-Bakshian, Ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to the United States of America at the Washington D.C. Embassy for up to 6 guests. Includes a $1,500 gift card for travel expenses!
#2) Table of 8 at Luxembourg Under the Stars: Dine like a Luxembourger overlooking beautiful Lake Michigan in Port Washington, WI Saturday, August 12, 2023. Savor a Luxembourgish menu carefully curated for our guests by Luxembourg dual citizen and CEO of the Lowlands Restaurant Group Eric Wagner & chef Rebecca Berkshire. Includes an exclusive gift for each guest.
#3) Tickets for 4 to “Prost! Luxembourg Tasting Experience” with a special gift basket to take home. #4) “Share your Family Story for Generations” Oral History Package. Produced by Oral Historian/ LACS Staff Olivia Hoff. Package includes: Consultation, oral history interviews (max 2 hours), professionally edited audio, copy of interview transcript, and more!
#5) Traditional Homemade Luxembourg Dinner. Enjoy an authentic four-course dinner for 8 guests made by Luxembourg’s Nicky Krueger-Loos on Saturday, August 5th, 2023 in Oconomowoc, WI. Light appetizers, cocktail hour, and Luxembourg beer and wine included. Nicky has taught hundreds of LACS virtual program participants how to cook traditional Luxembourg cuisine and will prepare a beautiful meal for you with “Love From Luxembourg.“
