About the Tour

Voices From the Village is an historic audio tour of the Village of Belgium led by Historian Olivia Hoff. This tour is accessible via the VoiceMap app or browser, which uses GPS to lead listeners through the Village and hear stories along the way from Belgium locals. The stories include the history of the Milwaukee, Lake Shore & Western Railroad, the Old Town Hall, Hubing & Hames Grocery, Curley’s Tavern, and more. The Village of Belgium celebrates its centennial anniversary in 2022, and this audio is for locals and visitors to explore the history of Belgium through storytelling.
